Ice Wonder

I enjoy taking nature pictures...particullarly of plants and patterns in nature.  As such, winter is a fantastic opportunity for interesting photography.  Living in St. Louis, with our generally mild winters, doesn't give too many chances for snow & ice photos. I think that the juxtaposition of snow and ice with plants really shows off the wonder and beauty of God's creation. This photo is of a grass seed pod, encased in ice.  Total size of the pod is less than one inch.  It's amazing how delicate appearing and yet how strong this little seed pod is! Submitted byGregg
