I enjoy taking nature pictures...particullarly of plants and patterns in nature. As such, winter is a fantastic opportunity for interesting photography. Living in St. Louis, with our generally mild winters, doesn't give too many chances for snow & ice photos.
I think that the juxtaposition of snow and ice with plants really shows off the wonder and beauty of God's creation.
This photo is of a grass seed pod, encased in ice. Total size of the pod is less than one inch. It's amazing how delicate appearing and yet how strong this little seed pod is!
